**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Hawksburn Village Dental is looking for an enthusiastic Dental Assistant. The successful applicant will need to be reliable and eager to work. Your responsibilities will include chairside assisting, cleaning, sterilising and preparation of instruments. Other duties include simple laboratory tasks and administrative tasks.

**Permanent or 3 month contract available.**

**Hours**

Monday-Thursday 8:15-5:30

Friday 8:15-1:15

**The successful applicant’s tasks will include**:

- Assisting our dentists
- Sterilising and preparation of instruments
- Maintaining equipment
- Preparing laboratory work
- Front office and administrative duties

**This role will suit an employee with the following skills**:

- Excellent chair side assisting skills and infection control
- Ability to work independently, proactively and show initiative
- Excellence in time management
- Knowledge of the Dental 4 windows (beneficial)
- Dental assisting experience required/mandatory

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- TOORAK, VIC 3142: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance (preferred)
