Diploma Educator

Como Park Childcare and Kindergarten is a privately owned and operated service located in Lilydale, Victoria.
We are currently seeking to expand our team of highly qualified and experienced educators that are passionate about providing quality education for children due to maternity leave and increasing enrollments.
Our vision is to offer the highest standards of Excellence to Early Childhood Learning through high-quality education, professionalism and innovation. We are a 64 place Service that is currently at capacity. The Centre provides a collaborative, nurturing and learning environment for the maximum benefit of all children. Our core philosophy is the children's learning is first and foremost while complimenting a natural and homely approach.
We have exciting opportunities for one Full Time and one part time, Qualified Educators to join our team and to grow and develop your skills at Como Park.

Position Requirements:
Completed Diploma as recognised by the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012
Proof of assessment by ACECQA for all overseas qualifications
Working With Children Check
Must have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standards (NQS)
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate or willingness to obtain
Medically fit to work within a child care environment
Flexible to work shifts starting from 6:30 am & finishing 6:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Our centre currently holds an Exceeding Quality Standard in the ACECQA National Quality Standards assessment.

**Requirements**:
Great communication and teamwork
Excellent computer skills, writing skills
Excellent understanding of EYLF, NQF and accreditation process
Excellent understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Licence and car
Motivation and dedication to operating an amazing educational centre with a passion for building positive relationships
Possess leadership skills with experience in motivating, mentoring
Able to navigate all computer software programs such as word, excel, power point.
Experience using IPads and tech

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a harmonious relationship with parents, Education Management, team members and children.
- To implement and evaluate programs for children, which meet the Centre Philosophy and Policies, Government Regulations and Quality Assurance Principles.
- To ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe;
- To communicate effectively with children, families and the wider community.
- To work as an effective team member.
- To follow Centre Policy and Government Legislation in providing a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff.
- To implement and evaluate programs for children, which meet the Centre Philosophy and Policies, Government Regulations and Quality Assurance Principles.
- To ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe;
- To communicate effectively with children, families and the wider community.
- To work as an effective team member.
- To follow Centre Policy and Government Legislation in providing a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff.
- To participate in the Operational Management of the service where required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 37.5 per week
