Pharmacy Dispensary Technician

**A brand new pharmacy in a brand new building. Who we are**:
An excellent opportunity for a dispensary technician to join our brand new and improved store (formerly known as Pharmacy Nutrition Warehouse), in a newly built space that will host one of the biggest Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse stores in NSW.

This magnificent pharmacy development has now opened its doors to the community and is looking for a dynamic and efficient dispensary technician to join their team.

This new pharmacy store will be further supported by one of the largest Medical centres that have ever operated in the district. The premises will offer 60 underground carparks dedicated to Medical and pharmacy operations, and this incredible new health hub is about to change the look and feel of the shopping section of the town, and make headway for a new era of health services in the entire community.

**About the role**:
Your role will involve providing great customer service, processing prescriptions, and providing advice and education on health products.

You will be working alongside and under the supervision of the pharmacist manager and the pharmacist in charge and with the aim to assist in the delivery of accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions of a very busy dispensary.

You will be reporting to the pharmacist in charge, and during your shift you will be further supported by a team of additional dispensary and shop assistants, as well as a retail manager.

**What we're looking for**:

- Pharmacy customer service & front of shop knowledge
- Stock management including: maintaining stock levels, and preventing 'out of dates.'
- **Support the dispensing Pharmacist**through the performance of clerical duties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Select items for dispensing when specifically directed by the Pharmacist, selecting cautionary advisory labels as directed.
- **Maintain patient records**in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Provide **continuous support and assistance to the schedule counter**and other areas, to provide care that is of an exceptional standard.
- Perform clerical functions associated with the prescription dispensing, including the entering of prescription records, provided that a Pharmacist personally checks each patients medical history before the dispensed medicine is supplied
- Flexibility to work a weekend shift if required

**The successful applicant must possess the following attributes**:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dedicated work ethic and willingness to learn and grow with the business.
- Reliable, innovative, have a "can-do" attitude and a team-player
- An outgoing & welcoming personality
- Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Familiar with FRED software
- Sound understanding of general pharmacy product knowledge.
- Must have at least **2 years**’ work experience in a similar role
- Sound computer skills.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
