**YOUR ROLE**
We're looking for a Claims Consultant to join our Workers Compensation team based in West Perth on a 12-month fixed term contract. Your primary purpose responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of complex Workers Compensation Specialised claims with the aim to help injured workers' recovery and return to work as quickly and safely as possible. You will be required to arrange permanent impairment assessments where appropriate.
You will accurately determine liability on new and existing claims and establish strategic Case Management Plans in collaboration with the injured worker, their employer and other relevant stakeholders including (but not limited to) brokers, medical professionals and solicitors.
This is a full time, 12-month fixed term opportunity with hybrid work arrangements available.
**ABOUT YOU**
- An empathetic focus, with prior insurance, law, medical or health experience
- Able to provide exceptional customer service and build strong working relationships with stakeholders of all levels
- A drive for positive outcomes for the customer and all involved - Be proactive with the implementation and ongoing review of Case Management Plans and able to make decisions quickly
- Experience with the ongoing review and management of claims in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines
