WHAT YOU WILL GROW AND BUILD
- This Event Manager position will be the single point of contact in this commercial business for meetings and events and will develop, plan, execute and manage internal & external events for the entire organisation.
- The role will support the commercial business with meetings and events in line with the business priorities. The position involves strong capabilities in event management, stakeholder management, budgeting, business understanding, leadership, cross functional collaboration, communication and project management.
- You will manage national sales conferences, mid-cycle meetings, organising large external events as the project lead. You will work with cross functional teams to make the event successful eg. marketing, communications, training, digital, leadership team, sales, etc.
- You will maintain field force lead educational event compliance and support the commercial business, coordinating the internal approval process of educational events in partnership with sales, legal and compliance and maintain a compliant and complete record-keeping system.
- You will utilise Cvent for complex meetings and meeting management, and be the Cvent lead to allocate meetings and training, working with the global team for training, policy and other global guidance.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
- Relevant university degree or tertiary qualification.
- 3 years minimum in a similar role, in event management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
- Meeting and event experience for 200+ people, running events.
- Event, vendor and project management, advanced stakeholder and budget management.
- Ideally Cvent knowledge & experience.
- Organisational & negotiation skills.
- Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
