Expressions of interest are sort from experienced **Blast Crew, MPU Operators Shotfirers and Step-up Supervisors **who may be interested in being considered for upcoming vacancies and/or to keep in touch in regards to future opportunities as we continue to grow.

**About our positions**:
At Platinum we don't want you to feel like a number, but a key member of our close-knit team. We're proud to have some fantastic sites, supervisors and crews who play an important role in our ongoing growth.

We offer permanent opportunities for experienced Blast Crew, MPU Operators, Shotfirers and Step-up Supervisors, and have operations across a number of sites within Central Queensland.

All of our sites are currently even-time rosters, with FIFO salary packaging benefits offered to eligible employees to assist with commute expenses. Alternatively, some of our positions include flights, while other positions provide an accommodation allowance where living locally.

**About you**:
Prior blasting operational experience and qualifications are essential, but it will be your positive and professional attitude that you will bring to the team that will set you apart.

Our positions typically require current qualifications in the following, as relevant to the position:

- Standard 11 Induction (Statement of Attainment)
- Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence
- Qld Shotfirer Licence (where relevant)
- RII qualifications in blasting as relevant to the position (such as Support Shotfiring Operations, Mobile Mixing of Explosives, Store, Handle and Transport Explosives, Operate HR Rigid Vehicle, Conduct Surface Shotfiring Operations etc.)

Due to the nature of the positions, our employees also need to also be able to obtain and maintain relevant clearances, such as an explosives security clearance and QLD coal industry medical.
