**JOB DETAILS**:
The main purpose of a Rehabilitation Consultant is to employ a biopsychosocial approach to deliver rehabilitation services. This approach considers various factors such as biomedical, psychological, and social aspects that impact the recovery process and facilitate successful reintegration into civilian employment for injured veterans.
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to create and execute a personalized rehabilitation plan that addresses the individual's medical, vocational, and social requirements.
- Proactively monitor the progress of the rehabilitation plan and maintain ongoing communication with all involved parties to address any obstacles that may arise and ensure the achievement of goals.
- Identify and secure work placements, experiential opportunities, trial programs, volunteering positions, and potential employment prospects. Additionally, explore options for retraining and recognized prior learning.
- Maintain extensive knowledge about veteran-specific services available through DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs), relevant ESOs (Ex-Service Organizations), community services, and other programs.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Current driver's license and motor vehicle
- Bachelor Degree in any of the following
- Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work & Nursing
- Professional Membership Required - AASW, ASORC, AHPRA, Etc.
