The role

We are seeking experienced and reliable swimming teachers to join our passionate team at MLC Swimming for Term 3 and Term 4.

For Term 3, we have shifts available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. If you love swimming and have a desire to inspire and provide high quality instruction, we would love to hear from you.

Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:

- Liaise with the Learn to Swim Manager to ensure smooth and effective running of the programs.
- Provide feedback, stroke, and skill instruction to swimmers within learn to swim classes.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons and monitor activities in and around the pool.
- Lesson preparation including setting up equipment and lane ropes.
- Provide feedback on student level progressions.
- Participate in staff training and professional development sessions held each term.

About You
- Austswim or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of instructor experience.
- Flexible and varying availability.
- Working with Childrens Check & Police Check (if aged 18 years or over)
- HLTAID009 Perform CPR
- Flexible and varying availability.
- Strong organisation and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work within a team and help foster team goals.
