About This Role:
Forrester’s Associate Consultant for Asia Pacific research and consulting team works with consulting, sales, and research to manage and deliver highly relevant consulting engagements for clients.

Delivers custom market research-based engagements for technology and other marketing customers seeking impactful knowledge on their key market and data-driven messaging and marketing collateral for that audience. Partners with Forrester’s team of domain experts to provide research-based consulting services to end-user organizations, with a focus on enabling digital strategies and digital customer experience strategies. Manages custom research and consulting projects and works with our team of consultants and analysts to deliver high-quality consulting deliverables in budget and on time.

**Job Description**:

- Manage complex, long-term, and multifaceted consulting projects sold to senior-level IT and line-of-business executives at large/global technology vendor or end-user companies.
- Execute end-to-end delivery of client consulting projects based on primary research interviews, survey work, financial analysis, and Excel modeling.
- Develop project plans and meeting agendas, set milestones, coordinate internal and external resources and schedules to ensure project delivery, manage project expenses and revenue, and monitor progress against client and internal commitments.
- Lead research design and execution of custom quantitative and qualitative research and other project methodologies; this includes conducting executive interviews, leading quantitative/survey-based data gathering and analysis, and heavily contributing to final client deliverables. This also includes taking an active role on final project delivery and presentation to clients.
- Assume accountability in managing client satisfaction and project quality, with a focus on the role of our client and the goals they must meet to be successful.
- Oversee the overall polish/editing of all project deliverables.
- Manage third-party agencies to field custom research for projects (including vendor selection, data quality control, and adherence to project deadlines).
- Serve the key interface between the client and the project team during the project.
- Work with local and global analysts and consultants to provide strategic consulting services.
- Collaborate with other teams in the Asia Pacific region and globally.

Job Requirements:

- A bachelor’s degree from an established and well-recognized university.
- Two to four years of experience in a top-tier management consulting or market research company with hands-on research and consulting experience.
- A strong aptitude for and/or experience with project management, leadership, and responsibility; experience with vendor management is a plus.
- Work or academic experience in an international environment.
- History of delivering superior client experience.
- Proven research capabilities, including familiarity with statistical methods, expertise with Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of research/graphical/statistical software/tools (e.g., R, SPSS, MarketSight, and SurveyMonkey).
- Excellent verbal and written English; the ability to communicate and present to high-level contacts at our clients’ organizations.
- Demonstrated experience with or deep interest in a wide range of technology topics.
- Extensive project management skills; the ability to handle several projects at a time, working with and managing distributed teams.
