Working within the Australia/New Zealand Country Finance team, this role will cover a broad variety of legal entity aligned responsibilities, with a focus on ensuring compliance with various entity level regulatory, statutory, and group financial reporting obligations. The team also provides reporting to local Boards and Committees.

The role will include supporting various regulatory and statutory reporting processes, ensuring accurate, timely and complete reporting to key internal and external stakeholders, providing valuable financial insights, and maintaining a robust control environment. Additionally, this role will support key change initiatives across the Australian regulatory and financial reporting environment and will work closely with our Finance teams locally and in Manila.

Core Responsibilities:

- Supporting Australian regulatory and statutory reporting deliverables (mainly APRA ADI / RFC reporting and ASIC obligations)
- Investigating and responding to queries from regulators and other stakeholders
- Analysing new regulation or changes to existing regulation and working across various teams to implement required changes to reporting
- Supporting Australia and New Zealand (Aust/NZ) statutory, board, committee, and group reporting deliverables across a number of licensed entities
- Ensuring robust Validation & Control processes over various Aust/NZ legal entity aligned reporting requirements
- Supporting regional and global ad-hoc requests and deliverables from a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Working with Country Finance team members as required on efficiency, control enhancements and innovation initiatives
- Partnership with our Finance Centre teams supporting Aust/NZ Country Finance tasks to ensure deliverables are timely, accurate and complete.
- Supporting and executing system, process, and control improvements across the Aust/NZ regulatory reporting landscape
- Supporting annual audit processes and deliverables

Your Skill / Experience/Background:

- Experience in Australian regulatory reporting, statutory reporting or Financial Services License (AFSL) regulatory reporting standards and a taxonomy-based reporting regime will be favourably viewed.
- You need to be self-motivated and able to prioritise an ever evolving and broad task list.
- You will possess a high level of organisational, time management and communication skills and be an excellent team player.
- Energy, enthusiasm and an outgoing personality, coupled with an excellent skill set are essential traits required for this role.

Technical Skills:

- Australian Regulatory and Statutory Reporting experience highly regarded
- Sound financial accounting experience
- Financial Instruments knowledge and Financial Markets exposure

Computer Software/Languages/Other Requirements:

- SAP GL experience
- Business Objects, Tableau and Data analytics/governance experience highly regarded
- Axiom exposure highly regarded.
- Degree qualified with professional accounting qualification beneficial.
