**The Service**

Located in Karabar, New South Wales near the ACT border, **KU Queanbeyan South Early Learning Centre **provides long day care services for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, Monday to Friday.

KU Queanbeyan South has **staff parking onsite, **and is a service whose passionate team care for children with an emphasis on an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn.

The service also provides a full preschool program, assisting children and families with the transition to school.

**The **Role**

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an educator with a **completed **diploma **qualification **to join one of the leaders in early childhood education.

**On offer is permanent full time position working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday on a rotating roster while accruing **ONE **Monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO).**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- A current First Aid certificate & Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
