**Your role**: The Head of Department (HOD) - Senior Science will be responsible for working with the Leadership and Management Team to enact the school's ongoing improvement agenda
- Building and maintaining positive staff culture within the Junior English and Humanities teaching team.
- Working collaboratively with HOD Senior Mathematics and HOD Junior Math/Science and Deputy Principals to ensure alignment of curriculum and pedagogical practices.
- Developing the capacity of Senior Science teachers to deliver high quality learning experiences for all students.
- Setting, monitoring, and maintaining high standards for student performance in Senior Science programs.
- Working collaboratively with all members of the Senior Performance Team to maximise each student's performance and potential.
- Actively participating in learning and ongoing professional development that enable you to improve both as a leader and a classroom teacher.
