**About the Role**:
Permanent opportunity has become available for this North Gold Coast / Southern Brisbane steel manufacturer located in Yatala.

The role** **requires an experienced Dispatch Forklift Licence** **to operate a variety of Forklifts from 2.5 - 16ton counterbalance to manoeuvre both smaller and oversized steel material and parts, whilst working in close knit teams.

Working in dispatch duties will include picking parts by hand and machine (range of weights from 50grams to 100kgs), wrapping & strapping pallets, load & unload trucks, use saws to cut up pallets, general housekeeping including use of sweeper machine.

This role is physically demanding and requires daily manual handling and operation of gantry cranes
- **Day Shift** - 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday, 5.30am to 11.30am Friday

Ideally you will have come from a similar environment and can work effectively in a high performing team, in which you will be trained accordingly and expected to be reliable, have a positive attitude and be keen to impress.

There is opportunity for immediate starts with a perm pay rate of $28.19phr + Overtime Rates + Super

**About You**:

- Relevant experience in a similar role (essential)
- LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- **Ability to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol tests (random test completed regularly)**:

- An excellent attitude and willingness to learn
