Slate Roofing Melbourne is a roofing company that specialises in installing, restoring and repairing slate roofs. We are based in Melbourne and work across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. We focus on giving out clients a high-quality service and creating exceptional roofs.

**MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Repair, install and restore slate tiled roofs to a high quality and standard
- Repair, install and restore tile and color bond roofs to a high quality and standard
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Communicate and liaise materials / resources for job sites
- Other tasks as directed

**SKILLS REQUIRED**

1. Able to competently and proficiently
- repair and install slate tile roofs
- install flashings
- install terracotta caps using bed and pointing technique

2. Experience and knowledge working with the slate product
3. Able to work effectively within a team
- Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with others, including teammates, other trades, and clients
- Able to work independently and supervise apprentices
- Strong communication skills

4. Able to professionally deal with conflict or challenges
5. Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and find solutions
6. Positive mindset towards learning and taking on new things

**QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES**
- Certificate III in Roof Tiling or equivalent experience
- White Card (essential)
- Working from Heights (essential)
- Working with Children’s Check (essential or at minimum, eligible)
- National Police Check (essential or at minimum, eligible)
- Driver License (essential)

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
