**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a skilled Group Facilitator to join our multidisciplinary team and lead group therapy sessions across our programs. Using CBT, DBT, and ACT approaches, you will support patients in developing practical coping skills and fostering meaningful change.
With growing demand for group-based interventions, expanding our facilitation team will increase access to therapeutic support, reduce wait times, and enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will help maintain a diverse and effective group therapy program aligned with evidence-based practices.
Your key responsibilities within this role include:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions using CBT, DBT, and ACT techniques.
- Provide psychoeducation and skills training in group settings.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support care planning.
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate group records and documentation.
**Skills and Experience**
You will have the ability to plan and organise skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism.
- You will need to demonstrate:_
- Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent mental health care professional registration such as Mental Health Social Worker, **PACFA (Full registration) or ACA (Level 3)**:
- Training and experience facilitating group therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Suite

**Requirements**:
