**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for skilled and enthusiastic Disability Support Workers in the Ipswich Area.

As a Support Worker with RCS, you will be responsible for the individualised support requested by our participants. These supports may include: personal care, emotional support, domestic assistance, complex care, mental health, and personal development of our participants. You will provide a range of community access services to assist people with a disability to be actively involved in their local community. RCS Support Workers will strive to make our participants feel valued, respected, and engage them in meaningful opportunities and relationships.

Your role will involve supporting a 43 year old female participants with Huntington disease. This role is an 8-hour shift starts from 7:00am to 3:00pm every Monday.

**Skills and Experiences**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required

**Salary**: $32.06 - $44.88 per hour

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
