**About Us**

Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called _Good Samaritan Education_ (_GSE_). Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of _Good Samaritan Education_ is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning.

**About the Role**

The Mathematics Faculty is highly successful and fosters a culture of continuous improvement committed to student-centered practice. Applicants for this position must be excellent classroom practitioners, dedicated team players, interested in the care and welfare of students, and have particular skills in their teaching of Mathematics to equip them to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. Applicants must also be skilled in using educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow a creative and passionate teacher to flourish.

**About You**

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

- Experience as a highly effective, innovative, and motivated educator across all Stages of the curriculum (4, 5, and 6)
- Ability to Teach Extension 1 and 2 Mathematics (highly desirable)
- A commitment to academic excellence and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices that encourages academic excellence,
- Commitment to continual improvement and effective use of data to differentiate the curriculum and address the learning needs of all students,
- Interpersonal skills with parents, students, and staff,
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check
- A commitment to the child safeguarding principles
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College
- Current NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW
- Supporting the College Pastoral Program, including being responsible for a Home Room
- A commitment to the child safeguarding principles
