**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced support worker to join us for a short-term assignment on the Gold Coast, QLD. This role involves providing 1:2 support for participants, including assistance with daily living tasks, supervision, and engagement. **This is an excellent opportunity for a support worker with hoist experience**to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and participant-focused environment.

**Key Details**:

- **Location**: Gold Coast, QLD
- **Hours**: 3 hours daily starting at 9:00 AM
- **Dates**: January 7th, 2025 - January 21st, 2025
- **Support Ratio**: 1:2 Ratio (One Support Worker for 2 Participants)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide tailored, person-centered care to participants.
- Assist with mobility, including hoist operation.
- Support participants with daily living tasks such as self-care and household management.
- Engage with participants to support their emotional well-being and independence.
- Adapt care approaches based on participant needs and preferences.

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience with hoist operation (essential).**:

- Strong understanding of disability support work and participant-centered care.
- Patience, adaptability, and a compassionate demeanor.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for travel.
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Worker Screening Check.
