About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our team as a Kitchen Hand and Customer Service Assistant at our kebab shop. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, including making kebabs and pizzas, as well as providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble kebabs, pizzas, and other menu items to a high standard.
- Ensure food is cooked and presented according to shop guidelines and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, food preparation, and service areas.
- Assist with stock preparation, restocking supplies, and general kitchen duties.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, professional service.
- Handle cash, EFTPOS transactions, and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required.
