We’re looking for a driven Partnerships Lead to join our Commercial team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellence to a vast range of commercial partners.
Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager in this role you will deliver exceptional commercial value to all partners via their association with cricket. You will lead the management of a portfolio of Partners, ensuring their contractual obligations are delivered successfully through deep relationships and service delivery excellence, thereby annualised commercial returns for all stakeholders.

About the role
You’ll be able to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercial success. You’ll need to be well planned, commercially savvy and be able to bring to life, monitor and measure key contractual obligations. You’ll be a key member of the Commercial team and positively contribute to our team culture.
**Specifically, you will be responsible for**:
- Plan, develop, execute and report year-round through effective management and delivery of a portfolio of key Partner agreements
- Deliver excellence in customer service and stakeholder engagement
- Maximise outcomes of the partnership through close collaboration and strong contractual management
- Ensure clear briefs and objectives are agreed to and documented as required to ensure objectives are met or exceeded.
- Generate and implement annualised activation plans and engagement strategies that support target objectives for each Partner
- Conduct periodic formal and informal reviews on Partnership deliverables and status.
- Work with the Partnerships team to build, nurture and maintain strong and effective relationships with each Partner, providing excellence in partner servicing and delivery
- Support the broader Partnerships team in the execution of delivery plans for each partner
- Develop a clear understanding of each Partner’s objectives, delivering ongoing value and meeting all contractual obligations
- Support a partnership philosophy with a focus on open, honest, and authentic relationships that strive to deliver mutual benefit
- Build a detailed understanding of CA’s Commercial Partners’ strategies and objectives and insight into relevant partner’s business
- Support access to the CA ecosystem and cross functional teams within CA to drive value beyond the Partnerships team itself
- Connect the partnerships to the insights; distil the priorities and focus for the team to move forward with their partners on a tactical level that assists in the development and delivery of sponsor marketing plans
- Collaborate with the broader Commercial team with regards to value creation to retain existing business
- Ensure Partner needs are met or exceeded
- Develop deep insights on Partners, including industry intelligence and insights
- Identify and develop solutions that meet the strategic needs of partners including new commercial opportunities that add value and deliver partner growth.
- Support retention discussions and work collaboratively with the Commercial team to create outcomes.
- Contribute positively to our team and culture
- Actively participate in all staff meetings and forums
- Some interstate travel may be required from time to time
About you
**You’ll have**:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in commercial partnerships role on either rights holder, client, or agency.
- Relevant bachelors or post graduate qualifications.
- Superior customer relationship and communication skills
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Highly motivated and self-driven towards delivering exceptional client service.
- Highly organised, excellent attention to detail and be a strategic commercial and analytical thinker.
- Proven stakeholder and account management skills
- Experience creating and delivering strategic marketing / sponsorship campaigns
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations/environments
- Well-developed presentation & public speaking skills
- Sound commercial knowledge
