**About the role**
D. Trandos & Sons Pty Ltd t/as Trandos Farms is seeking a Facility Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day grading, packing and quality control of sweet corn and green beans at our production facility in Neerabup, WA.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough inspections of vegetable products to ensure they meet established quality standards and supermarket specifications
- Assess quality of incoming and outgoing product and grade accordingly
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformances to Shed Foreman and Directors
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection and quality assurance records, allowing for complete traceability
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Ensure all personnel in the facility are trained and performing as per standard procedure
**What we're looking for**
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve operational issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
Previous experience in a vegetable production environment is preferred, but not essential.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
