Communications & Campaigns Assistant

**Job description**:
We currently have a vacancy for a temporary Communication Campaigns Assistant to provide additional support to our Client's communications team in delivering campaigns.
This will be for an initial three month period.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the post holder will be a member of the communications team, working closely with colleagues across the organisation and stakeholders to deliver effective communications and engagement.
**Main duties**:
- Support the creation of integrated external communications campaigns across multiple platforms and channels including proactive media activity, social media, digital communications including the website and marketing materials.
- Creating engaging content for phase three of the Client's campaign on social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, and monitoring and responding to social media comments and direct messages appropriately. Develop and update content for the campaign website.
- Create engaging content and support the delivery of the campaign.
- Ongoing social media monitoring and evaluation, adjusting campaign activity in response to results and to improve engagement.
- Support the delivery of campaign specific events to raise and maintain the Client's profile with stakeholders and the general public.
- Working with the communications team and contractors to provide general communications support as and when required to deliver outputs.
**Skills/Experience**:
- Relevant professional experience and qualification.
- Experience of designing and delivering creative and effective communications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influentially with a range of stakeholders and audiences.
- Excellent digital skills including Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience of using social media to promote a campaign, organisation or product.
- Experience of creating engaging and accessible online content using a variety of multi-media formats.
- Ability to work under pressure while paying attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills and able to meet deadlines and deliver a range of priorities.
**Hours of work**:
37 hours per week, Monday - Friday (flexible / hybrid working is available and both part-time and full-time employment options can also be considered)
