**Where Metal Meets Magic**

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for crafting, shaping, and finishing components made from various metals. You will also have the opportunity to operate a range of machinery, from forklifts and overhead cranes to clamping devices and presses, as you bring our innovative solutions to life.

Some of the tasks include:

- Reading and understanding detailed drawings or specifications
- Manufacture, fit and assemble parts and components for a variety of machinery
- Operating and setting up machines such as lathes and parts by turning, boring, milling, planning, shaping, slotting, grinding or drilling metal stock or components
- Fabricating and working with a range of materials including metal parts and tools make equipment and machinery
- Fit and assemble metal parts, tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
- Dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
- Check the accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies
- General assembly and conducting routine maintenance on machinery

**Requirements**:

- Trade certificate as a Fitter and Turner or Mechanical Engineering
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals, fractions
- Physically fit and ability to lift approx. 25kg
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to set up and operate manufacturing Machinery
- Identify raw materials, i.e. hot-rolled, cold-rolled, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, etc.
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Forklift experience - is an advantage
