Pet Groomer and Animal Attendant

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled **Pet Groomer and Animal Attendant** to become an integral part of our dynamic team at our O’Connor location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide grooming services, including bathing, cutting, combing, blow-drying, styling pets' coats, nail clipping, and ear cleaning
- Inspect, clean, disinfect, and maintain the doggy daycare area
- Exercise and play with animals, while providing exceptional customer service
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the salon and daycare centre
- Contribute to the advertising and promotion of the business
- Schedule client bookings and manage appointments
- Oversee staff and create rosters
- Mentor and guide junior groomers

**To excel in this role, you will need**:

- Relevant grooming qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years full time experience
- Strong grooming skills with a solid understanding of various dog breeds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in handling animals
- Sound knowledge of animal health and well-being
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends
- A passion for building brand awareness and promoting the business

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
