- a background in agricultural practices, equipment and particularly orchards/farms
- a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- practical experience in working with different levels of management and employees on safety protocols, policies and procedures to gain understanding and implementation
- good knowledge of the compliance legislation for occupational health and safety within Victoria
- excellent communication skills when dealing with all levels of the business units
- excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products
- training qualification would be an advantage (Cert IV in Training and Assessment)
- be prepared to work autonomously when required but also be part of a team environment.
