At WoodLinks State School we strongly believe it is our moral imperative is to ensure students reach the end of their primary schooling ready for future success. It is a vital factor that schools connect with parents, carers and the wider school community to ensure success for each student.WoodLinks State School engages with the Positive Behaviour for Learning program in conjunction with the PAUSE program as a whole-school framework. This promotes positive behaviour and teaches students to regulate and recognise their emotions across the school which helps develop a safe and support learning environment for all students.WoodLinks State School offers the full range of classes from Prep to Year 6. Additionally, the school has a specialised learning area, music centre, resource centre, tuckshop, science area, Stephanie Alexander kitchens (5 mini kitchens), covered areas and school oval.
Specialist teachers provide classes in physical education, music, Languages other than English (LOTE - Japanese) and instrumental music. The school has access to specialised services including guidance officer, speech language pathologist, advisory visiting teachers as necessary, support teacher and library technician.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
