We are seeking a Civil Design Drafter

This role will offer you the variety of managing multiple projects and be responsible for designing and drafting at an advanced level from concept through to detailed design construction plans for all divisions of Council.

You will report directly to the Supervisor - Civil Engineering Design, and work as part of a team of professional engineers, designers and drafters.

**About the role**:

- Provide specialised civil design and drafting services from project concept through to detailed design
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for incorporation in construction and budgetary programs and contract documents
- Develop and add to design practices and processes.

**We are seeking**:

- Your knowledge of drafting/design relating to roadworks and drainage and/or water and sewer facilities
- Experience in the design and drafting of community facilities or structural detailing would be highly regarded
- Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting
- Knowledge of and experience in the use of Australian standards, design guidelines relevant to the design of roads, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure.

- Salary ranging from $75,686.35 per annum with competency-based increments up to $89,651.41 per annum, plus 10.5% super
- 70 hour, 9 day fortnight
