**Logging Geologist**

Bluestone Mines Tasmania JV Pty Ltd has a vacancy for the role of casual Logging Geologist in the Resource Development and Planning Department at the Renison Mine Site, Zeehan.

**Job Profile**
- Casual Position
- Flexible 12-hour days
- Residential position or DIDO

As a Logging Geologist you will be a member of the Renison Geology team within the Mining and Resource Department. You will report to the shift resource geologist, and your role will include but not be limited to the following.

**Primary Accountabilities**
- Geological and geotechnical diamond drill core logging.
- Logging data entry.
- Ensure directions of your shift resource geologist are followed.
- Ensure core mark up and sampling conducted by Geological Technicians is to a high standard.
- Assist with general core shed work, including sampling, core delivery and manual handling.

**Qualifications, Education and Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in Geology (Essential)
- Previous experience logging core (Essential)
- Current C class driver’s licence (Essential)
- acQuire Database experience (Desired)
- Surpac and Leapfrog skills (Desired)
