**Transit Systems is seeking a motivated and experienced Trade Assistant to join our Bankstown team**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Assist mechanics carrying out heavy vehicle servicing and repairs
- Perform minor maintenance tasks
- Remove and replace tyres
- Conduct general workshop cleanliness, tidiness and litter management

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THE ROLE YOU NEED TO HAVE**:

- Previous maintenance workshop experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop;
- Be self-motivated
- Forklift certificate (desirable)
- Computer literate basic keyboard skills and data entry
- Understand spare part management
