Role 1: Academic Tutor (Coaching Guru)
Key Responsibilities:
Track and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback.
Cultivate a positive and motivating learning environment.
**Requirements**:
Prior tutoring experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work at one or more of our locations: Werribee, Clyde North, or Rockbank.
Role 2: Abacus Trainer (UCMAS)
We are seeking passionate individuals to join UCMAS as Abacus Trainers. Prior experience in abacus teaching is not required as full training will be provided, but a background in education is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver the UCMAS abacus and mental arithmetic program to children.
Foster the development of concentration, memory, and cognitive skills.
Prepare and implement lesson plans according to the UCMAS curriculum.
Monitor student progress and ensure learning outcomes are achieved
**Requirements**:
Experience working with children is preferred.
Willingness to learn the UCMAS abacus system (training provided).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Flexibility to work at Werribee, Clyde North, or Rockbank.
Role 3: Booklet Marker (Support Role)
We are also looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Booklet Marker. This role is essential in supporting both Coaching Guru and UCMAS by ensuring accurate and timely marking of student booklets.
Key Responsibilities:
Mark and grade student booklets from both Coaching Guru and UCMAS programs.
Maintain consistency and accuracy in grading according to set guidelines.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their work.
Collaborate with tutors and trainers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
**Requirements**:
Attention to detail and accuracy in marking.
Prior experience in grading or educational assessment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work across our Werribee, Clyde North, or Rockbank locations.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
