**Your new company**

Hays have partnered with a reputable engineering firm to appoint an experienced Plant 3D Designer. The majority of their projects are delivered to the mining sector and heavy industries with a long-standing relationship and excellent pipeline of work
**Your new role**

We are seeking an experienced Autodesk Plant 3D Designer with a strong background in plant and machinery design and modelling.

Throughout your role you will:

- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to create detailed plant layouts, piping designs, and equipment models using Autodesk Plant 3D.
- Develop 3D models, and drawings for process plants, refineries, and other industrial facilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise related to plant design.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and bill of materials.
- Review and revise existing designs as needed.

**What you'll ne**ed to succeed**
- Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D software.
- Strong understanding of plant design principles, including piping, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Experience with 3D modelling, isometrics, and orthographic drawings.
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, API, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
