**About the role**

We are seeking **Speech Therapy Aides who are enrolled in their final or second last year of your qualifying speech pathology degree** (eg. Bachelor or Masters in Speech Pathology). Opportunities are available Sydney wide and are offered on a casual basis. You will be working in **primary schools **providing assessment and intervention to school-aged children with communication difficulties. You will be provided with programs, resources and supervision - so you can focus on implementing high quality therapy with children who need our support.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Enrolment in your final, or second last year of a qualifying speech pathology degree
- Willingness to travel to the relevant school, with a current driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- A passion for working with children and families, to help our clients reach their full potential
- Ability to work independently within a provided management plan from a supervising Speech Pathologist
- Experience working with children in a small group setting (for example on placement; through volunteer work)
- Working with Children Check & NDIS worker screening check
- Learning Links is a Covid safe workplace and all staff are required to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus a booster).
