- Collaborate, build and maintain relationships with the Judiciary, court staff and stakeholders to enhance the service offered to Self Represented Litigants.
- Use statistical data to assess usage and trends and prepare reports for judiciary and senior court staff.
- As part of the MMC leadership team, provide support to other registries and staff.

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
**About the Role**
The Self Represented Litigant Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate and clear procedural and practical advice toto self represented litigants. This includes information about fees,time frames and the court process but does not include legal advice. Working in this role requires the ability to confidently liaise with a variety of people including members of the public, extenal parties, particularly real estate agents, other court staff and Judiciary.
**About You**
This role has significant technical components as well as team leadership and people-management components and, therefore, requires someone who has both an advanced understanding of the Court's protocols and procedures and well developed team-leadership experience.
