We are currently seeking
**multiple** experienced
**Kitchen Hands** to assist the Head Chef in providing a nutritious food service to a Youth Correction Facility based in
**_Wacol._**

**_Key Responsibilities:_**
- Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and provision of nutritious and varied meals
- Cutting, cooking and plating food for delivery
- Assist in the control of stores and provisions
- Maintain a hygienic, safe and secure working environment, including cleanliness of work areas and kitchen equipment

**_Mandatory requirements:_**
- A minimum of 12 months of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Knife Skills - minimum 12 months **MANDATORY**:

- A working with children blue card **MANDATORY** (applicants without this will not be considered for the role)
- Able to pass a Clear Criminal History check **MANDATORY**:

- Ability to undertake repetitive heavy lifting
- A current "C" Class Driver's license
- High knowledge of Workplace and Safety Awareness
- Food Safety Certificate
