Mechanical Maintenance Fitters

Labourpower Trade are seeking an experienced Day and Afternoon Shift Maintenance fitter for work based in Carrar.

This position is Monday to Friday working a 38hrs per week with overtime available.

**Shifts**:

- Day shift: 5am start
- Afternoon:1pm start

**Tasks involves but not limited to**:

- Maintenance of Conveyor belts
- Attending to breakdowns and repairs
- Changing of machine Bearings and Motors
- Fault finding and Troubleshooting

**To be successful for this position**:

- MUST have Mechanical Fitter and turner qualification or equivalent
- Must have at least 4 years experience in a similar position
- Fabricating/welding experience - ADVANTAGE
- Must have forklift and EWP ticket
- Welding experience - ADVANTAGE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Maintenance Fitter: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Cert III Mechanical Engineering (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
