Your part in our Lifeline team
Our Ipswich Distribution Warehouse is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated person to support our Transport Team. We are currently recruiting for the position of Truck Offsider.
Should you accept the challenge, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Must be available to work up to 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.30am-2.30pm- Pick-up donations from in and around clothing donation bins, private and commercial premises, and Lifeline shops.- Delivery of stock to Lifeline shops, private and commercial premises.- Collection and dumping of rubbish when required.- Assist with the unloading of vehicles and keeping areas clean and tidy.- Assist with completing operational paperwork accurately.- Assist the Truck Driver to maintain vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition and report any security, maintenance, or safety issues to relevant supervisor.- Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all matters relating to staff, customers, procedures, and security.-
- Act as a customer focused, values-based team member and work collaboratively with other UnitingCare Community staff and volunteers to achieve strong results across all the activities provided by the Directorate.- Work harmoniously with volunteers and other employees to promote a positive team environment
