- Our Growth Supergroup exists to drive Canva’s user & revenue growth through product-led growth strategies that demonstrate the full value of Canva’s products to our users.- We are responsible for the overall revenue growth from our business customers, by driving adoption of our subscription products: Canva Pro & Enterprise.- Growing our adoption and expansion in teams & businesses of all sizes is a core company strategy for Canva. Our group is doubling down on our premium teams products and new product initiatives for businesses, as well as building up a high-performing cross-functional GTM organisation consisting of Product, Growth, Marketing, Sales, Data & more, to supercharge our growth.- With all this hypergrowth comes a growing list of fraud vectors we need to face, and we’re looking to further mature our capabilities at a fast pace in regards to fraud prevention, monitoring, alerting, response automation, and fraud modelling for our global customer base.- Acting as a SME, you’ll help us on the implementation of new fraud prevention strategies and risk analysis tools, while also delivering sustainable automated solutions and controls.**Role Responsibilities**:
- This role will rely on your particular strengths and experience in building out data-driven decisions, communicating closely with stakeholders, and maintaining a highly **proactive** attitude. Specific examples of responsibilities are outlined below:
- Identify key fraud risk gaps and concerns
- Partner with engineers and product managers to analyse payment gateway data and payment information in order to build out timely alert systems and monitoring dashboards
- Partner with Machine Learning engineers to build out fraud detection models and advise stakeholders on how to implement these models for different fraud vectors
- Suggest and run interesting experiments that will actually move our metrics - when we push tests to 100% we want to actually see the bump in the relevant graph
- Build and maintain dashboards and make them impactful and intuitive
- Work toward minimising fraud exposure and losses across all business functions utilising effective prevention and detection strategies.
- Use our giant databases to answer the sort of questions that sound really simple but turn out to be challenging (and fun)
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Strong competency with SQL; experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery is a plus
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written - be able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas. Stakeholder management skills are vital in this role.
- 10+ years of experience building out fraud models, working with payment and user data, and coordinating fraud prevention strategies
- Experience implementing effective fraud management functions, tools and processes, designed to reduce net fraud losses.
**Preferred (but not required) Skills & Experience**:
- Experience wrangling and analysing data using Python or R
- Experience working with subscription-based data sets. It would be desirable to have experience with collaborative products as well
