DSA will work creatively and recently with each participant to unlock, discover, and unleash their potential, supporting them and empowering them to be the best they can now and in the future.

On a day-to-day basis, support worker duties could include helping with meal preparation, household chores, administering medication, access community facilities, going shopping, supporting someone to meet their friends, visiting doctors in a person centred approach.

Our Berkshire Park house has been designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision and be very resilient reducing the likelihood of reactive maintenance and reducing the risk to the participant and community.
- Attention to detail,
- The right Qualifications.e.g., CHC43115-Certificate IV in Disabilities.
- Delivering and monitoring of behaviour support plan and imbedding the strategies within the workplace.
- Positive behaviour Support acknowledgement and experience in Mental Health.
- Complex Trauma experience, including attachment behaviours.
- Happy and Positive nature.
- Confident, assertive, reliant and to work as a team.

**Our requirements**:

- Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster: mornings (6am-2pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm), Active nights (10pm-6am) and weekend shifts
- Current NSW Driver’s License (P2 and above) and access to a car
- Be comfortable supporting adult clients with intellectual/physical disabilities, high medical needs, mental health diagnoses or involvement in the criminal justice system
- Thrive in a team-based environment where we work together to support the wellbeing of our participants
