This role plays a key support role within the Operations team to enhance operational effectiveness; and provides lead support on finance, budget, facilities and management of assets including ICT.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Providing support on finance and budget services, including debtor management, budget management cashflows and financial reporting; and assisting budget managers and staff on operational finance and budget matters.
- Assisting with managing the agency’s assets including office equipment, inventory, approved ICT software, ICT hardware, and vehicle fleet management.
- Providing support to agency operations with a strong focus on aligning technology resources with business needs, implement business initiatives to enhance performance and maintain operational effectiveness.
- Creating a self help environment and fostering productive working relationships across the agency.

**WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON**

Finance and Budget Management
- Assist with the management of and provide advice to Tourism Tasmania staff on finance and budget management, including

Business Improvement
- Gather insights and make recommendations regarding business improvement initiatives, including assisting in the development of policies, procedures, guidelines, reports and templates that enhance the quality of the Operations program and ensure utilisation, efficiencies and simplification where possible.
- Support the management of Tourism Tasmania’s operations with a positive impact sustainability agenda including consumption and carbon emissions reporting, preparing associated documentation, and make sustainability initiative recommendations.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
- Assist with the administration of the ICT hardware fleet, monitor inventory levels, coordinate repairs and replacements, ensure efficient allocation of resources and coordinate software licensing arrangements including renewals.
- Support the Enterprise Systems Manager in implementing data, privacy and cyber security protocols and the day-to-day management of technology utilisation.

Asset Management
- Maintain the agency’s Asset Management Systems and manage inventory and the maintenance, replacement and disposal of assets.
- Manage the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the office, maintaining office and ICT management systems, ergonomics, and office equipment, including resolution of routine issues.
