About the Role
- Interview, examine and arrange appropriate investigations for patients attending the Emergency Department. Initiate treatment and action plans including a patient discharge plan under the guidance of more senior medical staff. Liaise directly with senior medical staff to ensure effective communication including information about changes in each patient's condition. Participate in and attend clinical meetings, educational activities and clinical audits and maintain an interest in self-development and education. Comply with organisational requirements, statutory law, and directives of more senior medical staff regarding timely, appropriate, and accurate documentation of clinical findings and actions in clinical notes, and the completion of administrative and clinical paperwork.
