**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled **Wall & Floor Tiler** to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tiler looking for stable, full-time work with a well-established company.

To provide a comprehensive wall and floor tiling service to domestic and commercial properties in accordance with the relevant safety regulations and departmental procedures.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Undertake wall and floor tiling works where necessary.
- Undertake and diagnose wall and floor tiling in small areas where applicable.
- Identify and rectify wall and floor tiling defects.
- Undertake all necessary pre and post preparation of all works to be undertaken.
- Demonstrate knowledge, where applicable, to undertake external wall tiling.
- Carry out routine safety checks of plant and equipment.
- Complete all necessary associated work documentation & obtain Client's signature for completed work.
- Liaise with customers when arranging and carrying our work, having full regard to their needs.
- Work from written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment where appropriate.
- Assess, plan and request parts and materials required to carry out the work.
- Report to Team Managers any faulty plant, appliances, installations or equipment which do not comply with the current Safety regulations.
- Operate all machinery and equipment in a safe and correct manner using all safety devices and practices.
- Ensure properties are left in a clean and safe manner on completion of work.
- Look after tools, materials and equipment guarding against loss or theft and making them available for use when required.
- Supervise and control apprentices/trainee’s, educating them to the standards expected by the Department, ensuring they work in a safe and efficient manner.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or
- 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a formal qualification

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Mathematics and measurement skills
- Ability to use tile cutters and other tools of the trade
- Ability to follow specific tiling patterns
- Strong manual skills
- Accuracy, precision and attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision

**Note: Only applicants with full-time work rights in Australia will be considered.**

Pay: From $73,500.00 per year
