**The Role**:
As the Project Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with the financial activities and functions of projects to ensure that the goals and objectives specified for the project are accomplished in an accurate and efficient manner.
It will be critical that you can support Project Managers to ensure that compliance with BG&E systems and processes, and project contractual matters, are met.
Working as part of a highly collaborative team, your main responsibilities will include:
- Project maintenance within our database including but not limited to:
- Project/Task Setups;
- Assisting with the Tracking of Project Variations;
- End of Month Closure Activities (including report preparation and meetings)
- Invoicing, both generating and following up on debtors
- Timesheet approvals & Time Reporting
- Processing subconsultant invoices
- Assisting internal and external clients with project specific inquiries
- Training staff where appropriate on systems/processes and project management issues;
**About You**:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (or working towards) is preferred not essential
- 3+ years financial experience (whether AP/AR or a role in the Finance Industry)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a preference within the office for face to face support where possible
- Strong time management skills to work to set deadlines
- Ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload
- Exceptionally high attention to detail
- Previous experience with the software BST would be beneficial, but not essential
