- do these characteristics describe you? Nepean Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast paced and varied environment across the Hospital. This role will see you cleaning in a variety of areas across the Hospital including patient rooms, corporate offices, hallways, car park and outside areas. There is also the opportunity to work night shifts as a cleaner across the hospital.

Nepean Private Hospital is located in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating Theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

It is an exciting time for Nepean Private Hospital. We are investing in our future with an exciting $38M redevelopment which will see our Hospital grow to meet the needs of our growing community with 4 new operating theatres, purpose built pre-admission area, new sterilising department, new foyer and retail space, new consulting suites, refurbished main entry and a new car park. And we have just purchased a new $3.5Million Da Vinci Robot to expand our complex surgery program. **As an Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide high standard of cleaning services
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous cleaning experience in Healthcare/hotel/airline cleaning
- Working with Children check
- Commitment to service excellence.
- Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
- Strong communication and customer skills
- Attention to detail
- Work well independently and within a team
- Available for on call shifts including weekends
