Symsafe currently has an opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of IT Technician. In this position, the successful applicant will be provide remote and onsite support to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established IT Managed Service Provider.

As an IT technician, your tasks will include (but not be limited to):

- Helpdesk - answering calls and supporting staff remotely and onsite.
- Support users at multiple customer sites with technology transitions and upgrades.
- Assist with technology setup and rollouts for end users.
- Provide technical support for IT infrastructure.
- Maintaining equipment such as computers, laptops, printers, tablets, routers, switches etc
- Keeping track of equipment/asset management
- Performing hardware and software upgrades
- Creating and maintaining logs of ongoing and completed tasks.

- Work effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision.
- Work with various tech professionals to develop and implement IT support strategies.
- Well versed in providing IT solutions to address the needs of customers
- Use clear language and expression to provide technical support to clients

- Have high attention to detail and resolving issues quickly.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Organised, structured, and disciplined approach in managing daily workload.
- Manage and prioritise time and tasks effectively.

- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems & Microsoft Office Applications.

Preferred Skills:

- Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 1-2 years’ experience in the IT industry

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- IT support: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Location: One location
