**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
Seasons is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Food Services Assistant to join our beautiful community in Sinnamon Park on a casual basis, approximately 15 hours per week, with weekend shifts available every fortnight.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is always willing to help, and who enjoys building a rapport with others.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Assist in implementing and monitoring all menu and food production to ensure presentation, quality product and service standards are upheld.
- In conjunction with the Chef, prepare, cook, and serve food according to dietary, nutritional, and cultural needs.
- Handle, sort, store and correctly distribute food items.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant food and catering preparation regulations.
- Assist with serving meals to residents and tidying up/cleaning of the kitchen and dining room following meal service.
- Carry out wider cleaning and housekeeping duties as required, including mopping and vacuuming floors, damp dusting, waste management, restocking of supplies and assisting with laundry practices.
- Help to ensure all common community areas (e.g. reception, dining room, hallways etc) are kept neat, tidy and clean at all times.
- Build a rapport with residents, upholding Seasons values and contributing to a positive culture within the community.

**Top Skills**:

- Proven experience supporting the running of commercial kitchens with volume cooking (hotels, healthcare etc) or similar environments.
- Basic knowledge relating to all facets of food services which includes, but not limited to, chill production and planning dining service.
- Previous experience in aged care and/or hospitality (desirable).
- Passion for customer service and interacting with a variety of people.
- Maintain a positive and motivated work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Requirements**:

- Level 1 National Certificate in Hospitality (Foundation Skills) and/or equivalent relevant experience in a role.
- Food handler certificate.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Current national criminal check.
