**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Commercial Property Development Analyst with a leading NSW Government agency to play an important role providing financial analysis and modelling supporting all streams within the Commercial and Property team.
Key accountabilities include:
- Set, review and assist in managing detailed project budgets and development feasibilities, forecast cash flows, cost control, managing variations, mitigation strategies and accurate timely reporting
- Create and maintain a discounted cashflow model for multiple development phases of the residential portfolio including Build to Rent and Build to Sell projects.
- Assist in carrying out feasibility and financial analysis for new opportunities.
- Detailed financial modelling and ability to build and modify models on need basis.
- Working with internal and external consultants to conduct market research to evaluate/assess opportunities, especially with Finance and the Investment Management team.
- Preparing insightful reports and presentations to support the various business development initiatives.
- An understanding of best practice cost and project management, especially in property development.
**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, property economics, valuation, finance or finance Related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical, reporting and financial modeling skills preferably across residential, retail and industrial sectors.
- Ability to develop and review complex financial modeling, with complex commercial/participation structures.
- Experience with Build to Rent modelling is highly regarded but not essential for the role.
- Advanced proficiency using development and investment valuation software systems including Estate Master, Forbury and all Microsoft Suite of Products - Excel, Power BI Word and PowerPoint.
