**The Role**

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our team at Gymea Skin Cancer Centre on a casual basis. This position involves working 1-2 days per week, plus coverage for sick and annual leave as needed. Availability on Monday and Tuesday is required.

Our current operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for:

- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required

**Qualifications & Attributes**
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care

- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
- Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
- Experience using Best Practice is advantageous
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
