**Position Descriptor**:
Mount Compass Area School is very fortunate to have a range of excellent facilities including extensive farmland, a section of rare and ecologically significant Fleurieu swamp and an eco-forest area. The Swamp maintenance employee will be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient maintenance of the swamp and the school forest area. There may be additional opportunities for the successful applicant to support with farm management and general school grounds keeping if other GSE's are on leave, as well as a potential 2 hour per week increase pending the successful outcome of an environmental grant.

Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment.
