Storeperson/colour Tinter

As a **Storeperson/Colour Tinter** based in **Welshpool, WA**, you will report to the Branch Manager. You will provide professional services to PPG customers as part of the warehouse team. **Responsibilities** - Paint mixing and tinting following formulations. - All functions in the tint area (stock control, replenishment, formula management). - Complete the number of tints, on time following PPG processes. - Maintain records of products used in the production of mixed colors. - Low-level color matching. - Pack, label & assemble orders for delivery. - Unpack, check & put away replenishment products. - Support customer requests for products or information relating to products as required. - Solve customer problems including sourcing expert advice from within PPG as needed. - Orders packed & made ready for despatch to customers on time. - Process orders and collate appropriate paperwork. - Replenishment orders are checked and put away within 24 hours of receipt. - Customer orders are processed and receipted following PPG processes and policies. - Ensure the warehouse area is always clean and tidy. - Ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with 5S principles and in adherence to EHS requirements. - Inventory management and reconciliation. - Process over-the-counter customer sales and service. - All computer-related tasks (inventory adjustments, stock ordering, receipting, invoicing, and manifesting). - Manage workflow and employee direction within the warehouse. - Cash sales reconciliation including daily banking procedures. - Process customer credits. **Qualifications** - Previous experience in the paint industry is preferred. - General warehousing skills. - Knowledge of color mixing practices. - Ability to work with formulas. - Demonstrated knowledge of paint and consumable products. - Forklift license. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated, and proactive.
