Warehouse Assistant for Furniture Retail

**Warehouse Assistant job**

Take down furniture from floor and wrap for deliveries or customer collection

Get deliveries ready from shop floor to the dock according to customer order

Maintain safe, neat, organized warehouse and workspace

Receive and unload trucks of new stock arriving

Wear proper safety attire

Open stock boxes and set up furniture on floor

Wrap items from floor and put in customers ute or trailor

Count inventory in warehouse and learn where items are located

Communicate, collaborate and work as a team to achieve goals

Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location

Scan items to be delivered to make sure not damaged

Report damaged items

Stack and organize items

Assertive, positive, can
- do attitude, helpful, able to listen to instruction

Ability to drive a van or learn

Initiative to work independently when required

Physically fit to be able to lift heavy items

Able to work weekends if required

Retail Award Rates

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:
